# Hailsham Choral Society's Christmas Concert delights local residents

## Carols through the Ages took place at St Marys Parish Church on Thursday 16 December

I was lucky enough to get tickets to this delightful event last week, beautifully performed by the wonderful Hailsham Choral Society.

Conducted by Barbara Edwards and accompanied by William Hancox, the concert included a mix of timeless classics and contemporary carols.  A special mention to Jozik Kotz for his wonderful performance of the Sussex Carol. The resounding hallelujah chorus of Handel's Messiah left me wishing that it wasn't so long to wait for their next concert on the 26 March 2022!

I hope you will be able to join me to see choir performing a full rendition of Handel's Messiah at All Saints Church in Eastbourne.
